Trump Marina - Atlantic City
On May 19, 2002 Voodoo DeVille played for the opening reception, sponsored by Compaq, for the 2002 Bentley International Users Conference. The crowd of about 2000 stayed for the duration and didn't even leave when the bar closed.
Our thanks to Charley Ferrucci of Bentley for arranging such a great gig for us. Also, many thanks to Maureen McGlaughlin of Bentley and Mrs. Pops for the photos.
And finally, we'd like to extend an very special thanks to James "Doc" White, who put down his funky bass and did just an outstanding job handling the sound -- we never sounded so good and could actually hear what we were playing on stage. Thanks Doc.

Stacks is just dazzling the crowd with Ray Charles' Mess Around.

What in the hell is the material that Rooster's coat is made of? Obviously, nothing naturally occurring in nature (unless it's a synthetic leopard).

Look at Chicken Shack, just pining to have a doo rag like T-Bone. Shortly after this picture was taken, the Shackster walked off the stage in a huff because he couldn't get a doo rag (but when he realized he left his bottle of Wild Turkey behind, he walked back on...).

Pops and Stacks give their rendition of Chuck Berry's You Never Can Tell (one of the many 'tell' we do - I Can Tell, Tell Me, You Never Can Tell, Somebody Tell Me, William Tell Overture, etc.)

We're sorry, we just had to have one more look at T-Bone in his doo rag. He's always sooo special...
