Turks Head Music Festival - July 20, 2003
On July 20, 2003, Voodoo DeVille had the distinct pleasure of leading off the 21st Turks Head Music Festival in West Chester, PA. It was a great day and lots of fun. There were 12 bands in all at the Festival, including blues, rock, reggae, country and more. A special thanks to Joe "Bignote" Stout of the Zachary Rhodes Band, the Contagious dance band and Digital Dog Studios. The Professor was on vacation with his family, so Bignote stepped in and played keys for us. Oustanding job Bignote! Thanks.
The Philadelphia Inquirer did an article covering the festival with a mention of Voodoo DeVille. Click here to read the Inquirer article.

It was a beautiful day in West Chester. We're not sure who decorated the stage, but it was certainly colorful.

T-Bone & the Delaware Destroyer seem pretty content under the gaze of the large Turk. We like a happy rhythm section.

Chicken Shaq, a.k.a. Kid Dynamite, steps out and steps up. He even bought a new shirt for the gig. Very nice.
