We changed our configuration slightly this year. We loaded the Delaware Destroyer along with the sound system into the back of our friend Bill's pickup. This was followed by T-Bone's sweet blues ride - his '59 Cadillac convertible.

Here we are, all saddled up and ready to ride out to take our place in the parade line up. Our man Chuck did a great job as the wheel man.
And we're off. (Safety note: Don't get too close to those fins, they could put an eye out!)

Finally, the band approaches with our man Bill behind the wheel for the 5th year in a row. (Note that Elvis made the trip with us once again)
The band passes by, triumphantly entering the home stretch (but for God's sake Pops -- get some sun on those legs!!!)

Also for the 5th year in row, Jill -- the band's professional bead tosser -- was on board (and now she wants hubby Chuck to buy her a red Cadillac).
Ooops, she must be going after one of those kids who shot her with their high powered water gun...the poor kid is toast.

The band returns, turning the Caddy into the Rooster's driveway for his annual barbecue.
It was a proud day for young Cannonball - participating in his first parade with the band. Sort of his blues rite of passage.
