2004 Veterans Week Parade
On November 5, 2004, the day after the Veterans Week Banquet, we got up early and jumped into the Veterans Week Parade that snaked it's way all through the Medical Center grounds. The parade lasted well over an hour. It included several marching bands, majorettes, cheerleaders (Rooster seemed to especially enjoy them), military equipment and loads of vintage cars.
Thanks to J.D. Eckman & Sons who provided the truck and trailer, the Medical Center for providing the generator (we don't do "unplugged"), and to our driver Don who did a great job keeping us level.

The Coatesville High School Marching Band was on of several marching bands in the parade.

Looks like every branch of the Armed Forces was represented...

...and every era too!

Finally, Voodoo DeVille approaches...what's that green thing hanging off the back of the trailer?

Looks like Pops was going for the Johnny Cash "Man in Black" look (except for the hat).

Man, Rooster - with the price of oil what it is today, how do you afford a synthetic coat like that? (Looks good though)

...and finally, here's T-Bone with his very special friend, the Philly Phanatic. (How does one make that career choice?)
